This Safari takes you through the very best game, sights and sounds Uganda-the pearl of Africa has to offer. It takes you Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks.

The following is the recommended itinerary but can be tailored to your suitability.

DAY ONE: On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our ADNAS representative will meet and transfer to your hotel to dinner and overnight in Kampala.

DAY TWO: The untamed Murchison Falls (3,877sq km)
Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park early morning through the historical Luwero triangle enjoying the sceneries. It will be along travel distance but one rewarding given the numerous sights and sounds enroute. Have a lunch break then Proceed through Kaniyo Pabidi to your lodge to dinner and overnight.

DAY THREE: The game
Early morning, ferry cross the River Nile to the northern bank for game viewing and expect to see elephants, lions, leopards, Buffaloes, giraffes and a heaven of antelopes. Have a lunch break then head for an afternoon Launch Cruise on the Nile where numerous birds like the African fish eagle, variety of king fishers, hippopotamus among others can be seen. Have dinner and over night.

DAY FOUR: Queen Elizabeth NP
Early morning drive to Queen Elizabeth Np through the historic royal town of Fort-portal with the youngest king in the world King Oyo of the Batooro tribe. Proceed in time to lunch at Fort Portal; stop over at the Equator for photography then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park enroute view some game at any given opportunity that evening and check in at your lodge to dinner and overnight.

DAY FIVE: The mating Grounds
Head to the Kasenyi area, the mating ground for the kobs and expect to view lions in pursuit of their prey. Buffaloes and hyenas among others can be seen. Proceed to the crater section for scenic viewing, lunch break at your lodge. Proceed to the elegant Kazinga Channel for a launch cruise and shall view numerous bird species like king fishers, pelicans, cormorants, animals like hippos, elephants and crocodiles basking along the banks. Head back to dinner and over night.

DAY SIX: The Grazers
Early morning after break fast, drive to Lake Mburo NP having lunch enroute and enjoying various sights and sounds of western Uganda. Depending on arrival time, an evening game drive is worth it. Check in at your lodge to dinner and overnight.

DAY SEVEN: Lake Mburo
Engage in an early morning game drive and look out for Zebras, Buffaloes, a variety of antelopes as well as numerous birdlife alternatively horse back ridding in the morning. Have a lunch break then proceed to a boat ride lake Mburo enjoying its beauties and environs and if time permits, a nature guided walk is worth an undertaking. Have dinner and overnight at your lodge. Horse back safari is an optional activity at an extra cost but enjoyable as you view game on a horse.

DAY EIGHT:
Engage in an early morning game drive and look out for more game as you leave the National Park. Drive to Kampala at leisure and stop over at the Equator then at the drum making village in Mpigi and the fruit stalls with some souvenirs stalls as well. Drive to Kampala for a city tour then to the Air Port in time for your flight home.

350 fish species are known to exist in Uganda’s fresh waters the biggest water being Lake Victoria that is shared by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The common fish species in Uganda include Nile perch, Catfish and Tilapia.
The Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria, are uninhabited except by the local fishermen, and are covered in thick, tropical forest home to monkeys and birds. Fish of over 80 kg i.e. Nile perch have been caught. The main method of fishing in the lake is trolling with lures, although fly fishing has been tried as has live bait. The Tilapia of up to 5kg has been caught on bait at R.Nile below Murchison Falls and fishing is normally with live bait. Catfish of over 50kg are often caught in these waters.

Day 1 (transfer from Airport to Hotel)
On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be picked by our Tour guide and transfer you to your hotel of choice for relaxation, diner and overnight at Hotel Africana (luxury), Namirembe guest house (budget)

Day 2 (Kampala - Murchison Falls)
Morning after breakfast, you will drive from Kampala through Uganda's rolling green hills to Murchison falls National Park. Lunch at the park go fishing in the evening for three hours at murchsionfalls base therefore a relative level of fitness will be required as the decent is relatively steep. In the dramatic pools below the legendary waterfall we will be targeting the large Nile Perch which can have been caught in these waters over 100 Kilos. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge /Red chilli camp.

Day 3(all day fishing river Nile)
After breakfast, proceed to the Nile River by boat in search of Nile perch and other species several of which can be taken on a fly including the Awaka a small tiger and the Ungara. The boat trip is also excellent for game viewing as you will be fishing in one of the best game viewing areas on the Nile. Dinner and over night at Paraa Safari Lodge/Red chilli camp.

Day 4 (Fishing in Murchison Falls)
This day will be fishing the big pools below the falls with lures, live bait and flies for the large perch. Again there are other species that can provide excellent sport. We will take a picnic and plenty of cold drinks and spend the day on these magnificent pools. Dinner and over night at Paraa Safari Lodge/Red chilli camp.

Day 5 (Kampala)
Morning at leisure, after breakfast, drive to the top of the falls.Luch on the way and drive to Entebbe for over night and dinner at Botanical hotel/ Sophie’s motel.

Day 6 (Lake Victoria)
After breakfast, you will take a boat and go for fishing on Lake Victoria. Lunch at Ngamba Island and over night at G&C's tented Camp.

Day 7 (Fishing in Lake Victoria)
Spend the whole day Victoria on all the neighboring Island of Lake Victoria returning to Entebbe in the evening for over night at Botanical Hotel/Sophie’s motel.

Day 8 (Airport Transfer)
After breakfast, transfer to the Entebbe Airport to catch your flight depending on international flight departure times.

Budongo Forest

Budongo Forest is located on the banks of Lake Albert, south of Murchison Falls National Park. It covers an area of 793 km² of which only 53% is forest. The remaining 47% is grassland.

Budongo Forest is the largest Mahogany forest in East Africa and home of the largest population of chimpanzees (600-700) in Uganda.

Kaniyo Pabidi and Busingiro Ecotourism site are the major tourist site within Budongo Forest Reserve.

Budongo Forest has a high biodiversity with 24 species of small mammals; nine being primates; 465 species of trees and shrubs; 359 species of birds; 289 species of butterflies; and 130 species of moths.

The bird life is extremely rich with many outstanding species, including a number of colorful turacos, kingfishers, barbets, woodpeckers, and sunbirds.
